The Great Movie And TV Loglines Contest--

Seeking The Top 100 New Movie or TV Script Loglines

Do you have a great story to pitch to movie producers or a TV showrunner?

Here's a new way to get it noticed: write a great logline.  Enter it into this contest.   If it's one of the best, we'll get it to producers, agents, and managers.

This unique (and easy and inexpensive) contest is an opportunity for produced screenwriters, screenwriters with scripts ready to show, and writers who have not yet written a script.

Writers with completed scripts can enter in the "Master" Division.

But even  if you're entirely new to screenwriting and want to know whether you have a great story, you can enter.  This is the
only screenwriting contest you can win without writing a single scene.

How The Contest Works--

1. You  write a movie logline.
2. You  register by clicking the button above.
3. You submit your logline to the contest in one of these divisions:

  • Master Screenwriter Division: for writers who have finished screenplays ready to send out.  Getting your logline published in Creative Screenwriting is a great way to generate requests* for your script.
  • New Screenwriter Division: for those who are just thinking about whether to commit the time to learn how and write a screenplay, or who have a screenplay that is not yet ready for prime time.  Getting your logline published in Creative Screenwriting might be exactly the boost you need to make that decision to give screenwriting a try, or to re-dedicate yourself to finishing and polishing that script.  And who knows--your logline might be just great enough to generate a request* from a production company or agent to discuss your idea.
* REQUESTS:  If your logline is among the published top 100, we will pass your contact information to producers, agents, and managers so they can contact you.

New Writers May Ask: "What IS a Logline?"

A logline is one or two sentences explaining what the story is and why it is unique.   The purpose of a logline is to act as an advertising "teaser" or like a news headline or a sales slogan.  It whets the  reader's appetite to read the full story.

And that is all that you need to win this contest -- a well-written sentence or two on a great story.  You could be Hollywood's next big discovery.
